A MOMENT OF TRUTH: Why You Found This Blog...
Why I Do What I Do... (And Why You Found This Blog)
Spirituality is a valuable journey that teaches us valuable lessons as we navigate through it. Those seeking growth often encounter guides who come with unexpected costs. It’s essential to recognize that true wealth lies in inner peace, rather than allowing others to profit from our struggles. I remember pursuing light while encountering various obstacles along the way. Healing should never diminish our dignity or hope.
That’s why I choose to offer my support freely to others. Having faced challenges without access to resources, I learned to forge my own path through darkness with determination and faith. Although my journey has been difficult, I remain committed to personal growth and healing.
After years of exploring my identity through the perspectives of others, I have discovered the importance of reclaiming parts of myself that were overlooked. I am determined to face my challenges head-on and dedicate myself to inner work for a lifetime.
Throughout my life, I have pursued success despite the preconceptions placed upon me by those I valued. I’ve witnessed how others sometimes find entertainment in my hardships. Yet, through the adversity I faced, I have held onto hope for change. I’ve learned that reaching out for support is crucial, and prioritizing my well-being is not only valid but necessary. By confronting these truths, I can better understand my pain, lighten my load, and uplift both myself and others.
Trying to talk to others about my struggles had never been a solution for me. I spent so much time putting my life aside to comfort and support everyone else. To me, if they were okay, then I felt better, useful, and appreciated for my efforts. Those were the biggest lies I told myself to cope with all the pain I had trapped inside—not just my own, but also the burdens of others who couldn't fully express themselves as I could.
The toughest part of all this? Cutting cords and breaking ties with those I held dearly in order to move forward into my purpose. At first, it felt like a mistake, as if I was being too extreme or overzealous for choosing myself over looping back into past scenarios that didn’t work for me.
I didn’t fully understand the pain I was causing until I stepped outside those loops and fully embraced creating new cycles for everyone involved. To love yourself enough to walk away from everything and everyone you thought defined your existence is a bittersweet internal battle that leads us beyond the veil of self-worth to discover our true identity. That is where my power resides: within me, within my experiences, within my peace, and within my truth being told.
